Domaine des Monts d’Argent
Beaujolais in the clouds
Founded in 2024 in the village of Lantignié, Domaine des Monts d’Argent takes its name from the silver-tinted clouds that often linger over the hills surrounding the winery. Perched in the heart of the Beaujolais, our estate is a new chapter in the long winemaking tradition of the Derats-Dumay family.
Brothers Guillaume and Thomas Derats, passionate vignerons rooted in Burgundy heritage, cultivate 9 hectares of old vines between Lantignié and Villié-Morgon. The vineyards, planted at high density and traditionally pruned in gobelet, produce expressive Gamay wines from celebrated crus such as Morgon Côte du Py, Côte de Brouilly, Régnié, and Beaujolais-Lantignié — alongside a rare Chardonnay grown in Lantignié’s clay soils.
Our philosophy is simple: to let each terroir speak for itself. In the vineyard, soils are gently worked at the surface to preserve life and structure. In the cellar, we vinify as naturally as possible — no added sulfites during fermentation, only native yeasts, and zero additives that might alter the wine’s natural identity.
Every bottle from Monts d’Argent is a precise, pure expression of place — crafted with care, from vine to glass.
The story begins in 1288!
Since the 13th century the Constant family has been cultivating vines, their know-how passed from generation to generation.
“Our ancestors cultivated the vines in the traditional way, by plowing and respecting the environment. Today we apply these same organic farming techniques and our wines are certified AB by ECOCERT. »
In 1970 Raymond and Jeanne, who until then vinified their wines in small cellars (five in total) in the vineyards, decided to build a cellar in order to simplify the work and to be able to give more time to their cuvées; the Domaine Ray-Jane will be born at this time.
Their cellar is made up of French oak barrels between one and a hundred years old, to which are added a few barrels and half-muids for the Insolite cuvée. This wide range of containers allows them to structure their wine in different ways with more or less long wooden passages which allow them to create a unique wine in their image.
Their son Alain will join them in the adventure followed by his wife Anne. Between them they perpetuate the work and endeavor to produce quality wines, typical of the Bandol appellation in which they register their know-how. They will continue over the years to make the place attractive and pleasant and will develop the family museum created by Raymond (more than thirty thousand rooms dedicated to the wine world) in order to welcome passing customers or loyal ambassadors who love their wines.
Today and for several years now, the new generation, represented by their two sons Julien (vineyard manager) and Vincent (cellar master), is committed to continuing the story of Ray-Jane.
Our vineyard shaped over time is made up of more than a third of century-old vines on about forty hectares of land staged in dry stone terraces (Provençal terraces) in a natural amphitheater that descends towards the Mediterranean Sea facing south. , made up essentially of Mourvèdre, the king grape variety of the Bandol appellation. The predominantly clay-limestone and Falun soils give wines full of finesse and elegance.
The plots of the estate extend over the municipalities of Castellet, Cadière d'Azur, Bandol, Sanary sur Mer and Beausset.
In addition to Mourvèdre, the Grenache, Carignan, Syrah, Cinsault, Ugni Blanc and Clairette grape varieties are present in the production of our exceptional wines.

Our Maison has been firmly rooted for over 300 years in the heart of Beaujolais & Mâconnais with Domaines Loron and Domaines Auvigue.
Our leitmotiv is the sustainable preservation of our heritage in Beaujolais and Mâconnais and their exceptional terroirs.
Our roots start in the village of Chardonnay and then Fuissé to discover our restored Romanesque church where we vinify our Pouilly-Fuissé Premiers Crus wines. They continue in our vineyards of Crus of Saint-Amour, Juliénas, Chénas, Moulin à Vent, Fleurie, Morgon with our Château Bellevue, Brouilly, Régnié and in our Beaujolais-Villages of Lantignié and Perréon.
Opening the door of Maison Jean Loron is the promise of discovering, in Beaujolais, one of the 213 Global Geoparks listed by UNESCO and in Mâconnais, the Roche de Solutré, listed as a remarkable site.
Today, more than ever, we embody the Nouveaux Grands Vins de Terroirs from Chardonnay and Gamay Noir.

Pioneering, visionary and modern in all that he does, Silvio Denz likes to repeat that he is first and foremost in the business of selling emotions.
After following a career in finance and then in the family perfume company he founded the perfume company Art & Fragrance in 2000 (renamed Lalique Group in 2016). In 2005 he acquired Chateaux Peby Faugères, Faugères, promoted to Saint-Emilion Grands Crus Classés in 2012 and Cap de Faugères (Castillon - Côtes de Bordeaux). He purchased the prestigious French crystal company LALIQUE in 2008.
On the right bank of Bordeaux wine region, it is from the terrace of the Faugères ‘cathedral cellar’ that you can truly grasp the full expanse and nuances of Vignobles Silvio Denz. From this headland, there is a perfect view of the grand triangle of vines form by these three vineyards. To the east, the Merlot of Péby Faugères rubs shoulders with the Faugères plots where Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon mingle with Merlot, whilst the vines of Cap de Faugères cover 18 hectares further south.
Last addition to Vignobles Silvio Denz’ collection, on the left bank, Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey vineyards lie at the heart of the appellation, overlooking the village of Bommes. This 1er Grand Cru Classé en 1855 Sauternes is blessed with exceptional vines, which are planted on Quaternary gravel soils deposited on an Aquitanian limestone substrate over 600,000 years ago. It is no surprise that Lafaurie-Peyraguey wine appears in second place on the list of Sauternes Premiers Grands Crus Classés drawn up as part of the 1855 classification. To celebrate the 400th anniversary of the estate, the businessman has developed a luxury hotel concept based on a synergy between LALIQUE crystal and the vineyard – a marriage of savoir-faire and French savoir-vivre.
Spirit France is an ambassador of French terroirs of Calvados and Armagnac. The group’s activity revolves around producing spirits exclusively from these regions. CALVADOS The group produces Calvados from two AOC: Calvados AOC and Calvados Pays d’Auge AOC. The main differences are the geographical location as well as the distillation method. Spirit France selects a wide variety of apples from various AOP to give their eaux-de-vie more aromatic complexity. Our brands : PERE MAGLOIRE - BOULARD - LECOMPTE ARMAGNAC The Armagnac AOC is divided into Bas-Armagnac, Ténarèze and Haut-Armagnac. By distillating wines from these three regions, each bearing distinct and complementary characteristics, Spirit France promotes the whole AOC region. Nos marques : PERE MAGLOIRE - BOULARD - LECOMPTE ARMAGNAC L’AOC Armagnac se divise entre le Bas-Armagnac, le Ténarèze et le Haut-Armagnac.
