The primary mission…From Tokyo to New York, from Shanghai to London and from Paris to Montreal, the members of the Union pursue their primary objective in cooperation with distributors, brokers and merchants: to meet some 50,000 or so professionals and wine lovers each year around the world and present their latest vintages to them. Hosted by estate owners or their operational staff, some 80 events take place each year in over a dozen countries. As well as France, of course, they include Europe (Germany, UK, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Netherlands, Russia), North America (US and Canada) and Asia (China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore). The Union has often played a pioneering role in opening up these markets, especially in Asia.
In addition to its primary promotional mission, the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux is also an ambassador for French culture, in which wine plays a prominent part. Underpinned by the values of sharing and conviviality, these encounters in foreign countries very often lead to long-standing links of friendship.
The Union was also the originator of another highlight of the Bordeaux wine calendar, Primeur Week. An opportunity to reserve fine wines at preferential prices while they are still in the barrel, the annual event draws 5 – 6,000 wine professionals from all over the world.
Chateau Dauzac, a 5th growth Grand Cru Classé Margaux wine according to the 1855 classification, has the privilege of having a one-block 49 hectares vineyard: 45 hectares with the Margaux appellation and 4 hectares with the Haut-Médoc appellation. Located near the Gironde estuary whose influence on the vineyard’s ecosystem is critical, the property is protected from ocean winds thanks to 120 hectares of meadows and forests. This agronomic bubble and unique terroir have made it possible to develop precision farming through plot selection, highlighting the exceptional characteristics of this Grand Cru Classé wine..

Château Batailley is a renowned Fifth Growth estate from the 1855 Classification, located in the heart of Pauillac on Bordeaux’s Left Bank.
The estate is known for producing elegant and structured wines that perfectly express the Pauillac terroir, combining power, finesse, and remarkable aging potential. Its gravelly soils, ideal for Cabernet Sauvignon, give rise to wines with deep aromas of black fruits, spices, and refined tannins.
Blending tradition and precision, Château Batailley reflects the authentic character of great Bordeaux wines while offering balance, complexity, and consistency across vintages.
The 2023 vintage marks the second vintage of Château Dassault’s new era. Since the last classification in 2022, structural changes have strengthened the estate’s qualitative ambition, notably with the integration of Château Faurie de Souchard into Château Dassault. Numerous trials, based on the identity of the terroirs, their shared potential, and their complementarity, have led to the birth of a new Château Dassault.
The commissioning of the new winery, a true tool for precision, illustrates the scale of the transformation undertaken by Château Dassault: double-walled temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, parcel-by-parcel vinification, gravity-based filling and racking, aging in large wooden casks and amphorae to preserve fruit and freshness.
These developments have given rise to a reimagined Château Dassault, where each vintage reveals ever more of its complexity, elegance, and precision.

The vineyard of Château Larrivet Haut-Brion, located in the Pessac-Léognan appellation since the middle of the 18th century, enjoys a diversity of soils that few of its neighbors can claim, and which gives the wines a unique character. A richness with an exceptional potential of expression for both red and white wines.
Committed to excellence since the purchase of the property by the Gervoson family in 1987, the wines of Château Larrivet Haut-Brion, favored by a generous nature, show great finesse.
The technical renewal of the estate is today the result of a unique association between three technicians with different backgrounds, who are united by the same passion: wine. Bruno Lemoine, General Manager, François Godichon, Director of Production and Charlotte Mignon, Development Director, place the wine at the center of all their attention and rely on their shared expertise to develop the full potential of the property's vineyards.
In an "intra-cellular" approach, the identity of each plot is respected, from the manual harvest to the custom-made maturation in barrels, in concrete eggs, or in amphoras. Gentleness, adaptation, flexibility and precision are the key words of the vinification process, which allows us to infuse the grapes without damaging them, in order to extract the best from each berry. Château Larrivet Haut-Brion thus signs wines of great elegance, fine and fair wines that reflect the place where they were born and that express themselves more on the length in mouth, the suppleness of the texture and the balance of the fruit. Wines for immediate pleasure that are also made to be kept.
