Co-exhibitor of SIMPLY ITALIAN GREAT WINES
The story of Hic et Nunc is a recent one, but the history of the land where it was born takes us back to the early 1900s.The Rosolen family purchased 100 hectares of land and began a gradual process of restoration. The goal was clear: to shift from quantity-driven viticulture to a focus on excellence by vinifying Monferrato’s classic wines in-house. We choose Vignale is located at the center of the temperate zone, equidistant from the sea and the Alpine chain, which shields it from northeastern weather disturbances. The low rainfall forces the vines to seek nourishment deep in the soil, and the good thermal variation between day and night, especially during harvest time, ensures wines with intense and elegant aromas. The soils are poor but rich in microelements, whichcontribute to wines with good structure, finesse, and, thanks to the presence of limestone, adistinctive minerality and sapidity. The Monferrato of Hic et Nunc is a conscious choice of simplicity, native grape varieties, andvinification that fully respects the varietal characteristics, in search of authentic purity inaromas and sensory notes. Since 2021, Hic et Nunc has embarked on an agronomic conversion process that, within threeyears, led the vineyards and winery to achieve organic certification in 2024 in all of the 25 ha of vineyards.
