ALPAMANTA, meaning "Love for the Land", is the first biodynamic certified winery in Argentina located in Ugarteche, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza.
An innovative and revolutionary project was created in 35 hectares, where we stablished, through regenerative agriculture, a balanced ecosystem, leaving a better place than we found. Completing our circle in world-class wines with environmental awareness.
Since the beginning in 2006 we have been working certifications, providing transparency and reliability to the production of grapes and wines:
Alpamanta has reached some milestones such as:
In 1873, Edmond BARNAUT, winemaker and broker-pressurer, married Apolline GODMÉ-BARANCOURT, descendant of a very old family of Vignerons de Bouzy. The following year, they made their first cuvée and created their own brand of Champagne. Since that time, in the silence and freshness of the original cellars, the mystery of the birth of Champagne has taken place. In this family cradle where each bottle matures for several years, we immerse ourselves in the philosophy of the six generations that have succeeded each other from their practices, relying on current knowledge and techniques, with curiosity and in search of perfection.

Cielo y Tierra, the visionary winery nestled in the heart of Perdrie, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, is the passion project of Argentine music icon and two-time Academy Award winner, Gustavo Santaolalla. This boutique estate is more than just a winemaking venture; it's a profound artistic endeavor where Santaolalla's creative spirit, deeply rooted in the Argentine landscape and culture, finds another eloquent form of expression.
The philosophy underpinning Cielo y Tierra is a meticulous dedication to crafting "high-expression" wines. This means producing wines that are not just technically excellent, but which authentically capture and convey the unique terroir of their vineyards. Santaolalla's commitment to this philosophy is evident in every aspect of the winery's operations, starting with the vineyards themselves. A firm believer in sustainable practices, the estate employs both organic and biodynamic viticulture. This approach is not merely a trend, but a genuine respect for the land, aiming to foster a healthy, vibrant ecosystem that naturally yields grapes of exceptional purity and character. By nurturing the soil and vines with minimal intervention, the goal is to allow the fruit to truly speak for itself, reflecting the specific nuances of the Luján de Cuyo terroir.
At the helm of the winemaking process is the highly respected Juan Carlos Chavero. With his extensive experience and deep understanding of Mendoza's diverse microclimates, Chavero plays a crucial role in translating Santaolalla's vision into the bottle. His expertise ensures that the meticulously grown grapes are handled with precision and care, utilizing techniques that preserve their inherent qualities and enhance their complexity. This collaborative synergy between Santaolalla's artistic intuition and Chavero's technical mastery is what defines the unique profile of Cielo y Tierra wines.
Cielo y Tierra primarily showcases Argentina's most celebrated varietal, Malbec, which thrives in the high-altitude desert climate of Luján de Cuyo. These Malbecs are distinguished by their intense fruit concentration, elegant tannic structure, and a captivating minerality that speaks volumes of the specific soil compositions. Beyond Malbec, the winery also produces other carefully selected grape varieties, chosen for their ability to express the distinct characteristics of this prime wine-growing region. Each bottle from Cielo y Tierra is more than just a wine; it's a personal journey from Gustavo Santaolalla, an embodiment of his creative spirit, his commitment to authenticity, and his dedication to crafting truly exceptional Argentine wines that resonate with a profound sense of artistry and place.
Clos de Luz is launched in 2015 by Edwards Cosmelli five brothers, a young and dynamic team rescuing old family vineyards, traditional vinification techniques with a modern management attitude.
Our wines commitment is focus in quality, freshness, not over extracted, alcoholic and oaky style.
Clos de Luz is a family winery located in Almahue Valley, known as the birthplace of Carménère in Chile. The estate, bought by his great grandfather in 1892 had been on the family for 6 generations. Now spreads over 33 hectares of vineyards, planted in 1945 by Gabriel’s grandmother Luz. They are some of the oldest Carménère vineyards in Chile, and probably in the world.
The domaine's vineyards are 100% ungrafted. Because Chile is isolated from the phylloxera, they are planted “franc de pied”, giving a unique character to the wines. The vineyards are also 100% Massal selection from old vineyards, as opposed to a large majority of vineyards planted using clonal selection (all genetically identical plants). This method preserves the natural diversity of the plants.
Winemaking Philosophy In our Massal 1945 we look for elegance, balance and aging potential. Though our wines we want to express the singularities of our terroir Almahue, so we remain using just natural processes with minimal intervention.
Our key points include an early harvesting process made 100% by hand, fermentations starts spontanialy thanks to the indigenous yeasts, not acidification and chemical products are added to the wines. The wines are stabalised naturaly thanks to the cool temperature in the cellar.
