Co-exhibitor of AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Rooted in Châteauneuf-du-Pape for three generations, Château de la Gardine is a family estate where wine is crafted with patience, passion, and respect for the terroir. Renowned for its faithful expression of the land and excellent aging potential, the estate produces iconic red and white wines — from the Châteauneuf Tradition to the iconic Immortelle, as well as bold expressions like Peur Bleue. The vineyard of Château de la Gardine also extends to the Rasteau appellation, where the family produces structured and generous Rasteau reds, true to the sunny and powerful character of this Southern Rhône Cru.
The Brunel family also operates Château Saint-Roch in Lirac, producing fruity and structured reds, as well as fresh and mineral whites, benefiting from exceptional terroirs. "Do not underestimate the potential of Château Saint-Roch from the Brunel family in Lirac, where excellent value wines can be found." (Wine Advocate)
Since 2007, the family has developed a trading company, Brunel de la Gardine, offering a selection of Rhône Valley Crus in partnership with top winemakers. This range reflects the typicity of the terroirs, from north to south of the valley: Côtes-du-Rhône, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas, Cairanne, Vacqueyras, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and Gigondas.
Wines from Château de la Gardine and Brunel de la Gardine are bottled in the signature Gardine bottle, a symbol of quality, identity, and authenticity.
