Bodegas Javier San Pedro (Rioja) – a young, innovative and modern family winery from Rioja Alavesa. Even though there are long winemaking tradition behind (5th generation of winemakers), it is a young winery that has already become as a reference for many consumers and wine professionals. In the 2022 Rioja report Tim Atkin named Javier San Pedro as Young Winemaker of the year. On another hand, Janis Robinson (Ferran Centelles) has names Javier San Pedro as one of the most promising wine makers of the area. Respecting Rioja values and traditions but at the same time seeking for new ways and expressions. In the portfolio you will find wines that are apt for off-trade (Cueva de Lobos), wines that are great choice for on-trade, the main line is based in our own vineyards wines from our own grapes based mainly in Laguardia and a couple of them from Lanciego, starting with a first step Viuda Negra crianza and growing in range, we also have some single vineyards wines that are sold only in Premiere as well as line of semisweet wines (Anahi) and vermouth mainly focused in the local market. We are a winery that is also taking a very good care of their image and definitely is a reference when talking about wine tourism in Rioja named as best Wine Experience in the last Tim Atkin report from Rioja.
