We are Julie Dautel La Pitancerie, a Champagne estate located in the Côte des Bar, in the village of Essoyes. Established in the 13th century by Cistercian monks, the estate has been revived as a vineyard, producing fine Champagne wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region.
With a focus on sustainability, La Pitancerie practices organic viticulture, emphasizing soil work and biodiversity. The vineyards, primarily planted with Pinot Noir, are managed without chemicals, and the grapes are harvested from 3.5 hectares of owned land.
La Pitancerie offers a range of cuvées, including "La Pitance" (Blanc de Blancs), "La Generale" (70% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay), and "La Pulmenta Regularia" (Extra Brut, 80% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay).
