Marta Mate (Ribera del Duero) - is a new generation winery from Ribera del Duero specialised in producing little intervention, high quality terroir driven wines. Winery´s main idea is less winemaking and greater focus on vineyard expression. It is a viticultural project that is fully committed to Biodiversity (organic farming, almost no soil compaction, no use of biocides or chemical fertilizers). Tim Atkin MW in his three reports from the region has classified Marta Mate as a first growth winery, and one of his latest report of December 2023 named Cesar Mate as “Winemaker of the Year”.
