Lagar de Costa (Rias Baixas) – a family winery that is located in Val do Salnes subzone. We are one of the few wineries that has the vineyards just by the seaside (in between 0 to 50 m from the sea level), allowing to produce wines that are the purest expression of Rias Baixas and the Albariño grape. Atlantic wines, wines with great mineral character. Medium to high end Albarinos made in different styles depending the origin of the grapes and with the firm idea of the power of aging of the grape – our first step wine an Albarino under the lees at least 4 months which is the main production of the winery, a special wines like one aged in a foudre, one coming from a plot with a little bit more acidity aged in concrete eggs, pre phylloxera vineyards wine aged under the lees for a year, sparkling Rose made of Espadeiro grape and in the last years working and discovering the natural and skin contact wines.
